2015 conference wrap-up

The 2015 edition of the annual provincial conference of food banks in Lethbridge was a huge success.

With more than 95 paid delegates from 32+ food banks around Alberta, the May 27-29 event has been called the best attended event in the association's 17-year history.

Hosted by the 2 member food banks, Lethbridge Food Bank and the Interfaith Food Bank of Lethbridge, the conference featured speakers on team work, conflict management, communications and safe food handling. The very special keynote speaker was iconic Canadian entertainer and food bank champion, Tom Jackson.

The 2014 annual general meeting of the association was held during the conference.
